Thanksgiving Breakfast

Every Thanksgiving my family hosts a breakfast for family, friends, and some strangers. This year was the 35th time we had held this massive morning meal. It's cool because we get to see people we haven't seen since the last breakfast. For the past 10-12 years, Adam and I have taken a plate of food to Dub Hatten, a man who once worked for our grandfather. He died this past year so no food for him Thanksgiving. I missed going up there to see him. You never knew what you'd get because he was an alcoholic and was usually tanked by the time we got there with the food. Some mornings we would get tears, other times we would get cussed. But yesterday, we got nothing.
